On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Friday June 7, 2024, come and celebrate FESTYDAY’ OMAHA with us at Camping Omaha Beach in Vierville-sur-Mer.
From 11 a.m., come and enjoy entertainment, vehicle parades, balloon and lantern releases, concerts, fireworks…
Catering and refreshment bar on site and from 6 p.m. find Lady pizza and the Herman rotisserie.

Program
- 11 a.m. : Reading of historic testimony
- 1:30 p.m. : Pedestrian guided tour : “The Landing”. In English.
- 3 p.m. : Pedestrian guided tour : “The Landing”. In French.
- 5 p.m. : Historic vehicle parade in Vierville-sur-Mer from the Omaha Beach campsite.
- 6 p.m. : Friendly drink at return of vehicles. Release of balloons (6:45 p.m.). Opening of bar and Food Trucks.
- 6:45 p.m. : Relase of balloons
- 7 p.m. : 1940’s concert evening with Mélodine followed by the Satins Doll Sisters
- 10:45 p.m. : Relase of lanterns (depending on weather conditions)
- 11:15 p.m. : Closing of Festyday’ Omaha, fireworks from the Pontoon on the beach.

- From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. : Meet in front of reception. Paid event.
- From 11 p.m. to 7 p.m. : Photobooth. Under the tent. One photo per family. Free.
