The Velomaritime close to the campsite
The Vélomaritime is more than 1500 km by bike from the Channel to the North Sea. From Roscoff in Brittany, to Dunkirk on the Belgian border, the cycle route is more than 90% developed and crosses mythical sites such as Pink Granite, Mont St Michel and its Bay, the Landing Beaches, the cliffs of Etretat, the Somme Bay or the Opal Coast.
With some shared lanes, it is an ideal cycling route for cyclists looking for escape, challenge, cultural and gastronomic discovery.

Come pedal in the footsteps of the assault of June 6, 1944, Just after Grandcamp-Maisy, stop at the Pointe du Hoc which shows what an artillery battery was. The route currently being developed offers a temporary retrolittoral route. Halfway through, a connection allows you to take a short getaway to Omaha Beach, where the Americans landed under enemy fire. You arrive in Port-en-Bessin where a good seafood platter awaits you on the port.
